Being in this business means you have to wake up like everyday is new to make sure you get what your audience wants. How they can prosper, how can they live better, but you also have to remember to put your imprint on it so they never forget you. Writing, editing, and shooting my own stories allow me to do that.
Right now I work with WSAW and have worked with them for over a year. I spend half my time during the week as a multimedia journalist and the other half as a weekend anchor/producer. It’s an amazing schedule and environment to work in. I am in this business to serve the public. I enjoy and understand the primacy of research, interviewing, and reporting all the facts regarding a news story. I enjoy the challenge of finding and producing revealing news, and broadcasting it to a diverse audience. This is my passion. And I think that you’ll see that.
